Please take time to read our Terms and Conditions prior to making a purchase or on our website. Any purchases made will be acceptance of our terms.

OUR PRODUCTS

As wood is a natural product it tends to vary in colour, texture and markings and whilst we take every care to choose the perfect piece for our products we cannot guarantee the replication of colour from piece to piece. We do not wish to lose the natural beauty of the wood therefore we have left small knots and natural marks to enhance the product. Wood is forever changing depending on where it is kept, ie temperature, humidity. We would expect some natural movement over a period of time as it acclimatizes to your home. Small cracks may well develop but they are not detrimental to the product in any way and can be filled if so desired with coloured waxes.

Like all wooden products they do require some maintenance. Regular oiling will help to look after your product and will enhance its natural beauty. A bottle of oil is enclosed with all our gifts and is also available through our website.

Our products should NOT be immersed in water or detergents to clean them. They are NOT dishwater proof. Oak at Home will not be held responsible for damaged caused by the above.

Every effort has been made to show our products accurately on our website but small variations of colour, grain and size can occur. We will not be responsible for these small variations.

Selection Of Our Products

When selecting a product, please be very careful in choosing your desired size as some of our products are made to order. Your order via the website will be our instruction to craft your gift.

Personalised engraved orders will be confirmed by a return email. Once that has been checked and confirmed by the customer, the gift will be made. We cannot be held responsible for changes once the work has commenced.

We reserve the right to withdraw products without notice at our discretion. We also reserve the right to remove or edit any of our products in any of our advertising materials including our website.

In the unlikely event that we are unable to obtain materials to complete an order we will contact you to advise when your order can be sent. If this is not acceptable a full refund will be given.

Payment

All prices are in UK Sterling and are inclusive of VAT. Delivery is an extra cost that is added at the checkout.
For deliveries worldwide (outside of the UK) please contact us for the relevant cost. Please note we will not be responsible for any import/export duty or taxes which may arise.

Payment options: We accept all major debit and credit cards, and payments are securely processed by Pay pal at time of ordering. If you prefer to send payment by cheque, please print an order form from our website and send with the cheque made payable to Oak at Home Ltd. We will not process the order until your cheque has cleared.

Damage In Transit

All our products are packaged to eliminate any possibility of damage by courier. If however this occurs please contact us immediately by telephone or email so that we can either replace your gift or offer a full refund. In either case we will arrange the damaged item to be returned to us.

Satisfaction Of Our Gifts

In the unlikely event that you are not satisfied with your gift, please contact us within 7 days of receipt stating the reason for your dissatisfaction.

If your gift has been personalized we are unable to refund any monies paid unless the goods are faulty.

In the event that an item is to be returned to us it should be in an unused resalable condition and returned in the original packaging.

Except for faulty goods or those damaged in transit, Oak at Home are not responsible for the return post.
